Consultative. Team-oriented. Accomplished.
I have over 20 years of experience in the human capital and organizational effectiveness areas working within the insurance, financial services, management consulting and luxury retail arenas. I coach CEOs, executives and their teams to become top-performing, indispensable professionals. I deliver value by helping clients identify measurable goals and outcomes within the contexts of the organizations they work in, and then target the behavior characteristics keeping them from achieving those endpoints. I employ a no-nonsense and no-excuses approach that is customized for each coaching and consulting client and helps them practice and implement new behaviors that support the desired change.
My prior experience includes work as a consultant and human resources professional in various capacities at Monitor Group (now part of Deloitte Consulting LLP), Millennium Pharmaceuticals (now Millennium: The Takeda Oncology Company), and State Street Bank, among others. I bring deep experience in leadership and team coaching along with core HR competencies such as performance and talent management and organizational effectiveness.
I received my B.A. from the University of Massachusetts. I am fluent in Spanish and an experienced facilitator. I am also currently certified to administer the MBTI for individuals and teams, the Thomas-Kilman Conflict Mode Instrument, and Hogan HPI, HDS and MVPI Assessments.
I am also an adjunct instructor at the Columbia Business School MBA Recruitment Prep program and was a Student Advisor at Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA). In addition, I serve the community in a number of pro bono capacities: as an Account Director at the Taproot Foundation, where I lead teams of experienced Human Resources professionals to assist non-profits develop their HR capabilities; and as a volunteer for the Friendly Visitors Program in Harlem. I live in Chevy Chase, Maryland with my wife Christine and our beautiful son Alexander.
