Advancing Entrepreneurs and Development
When I started my business 6 years ago, I thought with my MBA, 20+ years of hands-on experience, and having been on leadership teams, I knew what it would take to run a thriving business. I was right on quite a few levels, wrong on others.
I have found over these past years, that having support and guidance around me to ensure I am developing and growing not only my business, but my own skill set is a key to overall success. Plus, it is what I tell my clients, whether I am consulting with them, providing them executive coaching or leadership development programs. How can I possibly provide these services to my clients if I don’t do it for myself and my firm?
Last week I attended 2 days of the business school I attend for advancing entrepreneurs, The Client Attraction Business School. It is led by Fabienne Fredrickson, who has build her own amazingly successful business over the past decade. I not only learn from her and her husband Derek, who is steeped in the online components of business today, but other entrepreneurs who are running thriving businesses. I have always loved to learn right from a young age. Now I get to continue to learn about what it takes to run a great business, serve my clients in the best way possible, and grow the business with systems, processes, and the infrastructure in place.
I am always excited to learn and grow more and thrilled when my clients do the same. Being part of The Client Attraction Business School has completely enhanced the way I can conduct business and know that East Tenth Group serves its clients better because I attend.
